7:47 pm - weddings are draining!

so my sisters wedding was TOTALLY AMAZING!!! i felt like i was at a movie star wedding - seriously! it was just that cool... and i felt really pretty all dressed up which made the night even better! now they're on their honeymoon... blah blah blah - whatever! lol... no - they're havin fun! they went on a helicopter ride yesterday! crazy huh??
ok - so enough about them and onto me... well, never mind... not too much is going on right now. just tons of school work to catch up on in mr. dashers class! oh yeah - and im totally exhausted. i really feel like i cant ever get enough sleep. oh well - it will get better sooner of later!
first priority in the morning - im really excited! i havent been in a while!

my sister is getting married tomorrow! HOLD CRAP! **lol - i definitley spelled that wrong but when i saw it i laughed... so i left it for you to laugh at too!** im really excited... we did the rehearsal last night. its quite awkward walking down the isle all by yourself - but whatever... im gonna look hott so i dont care!
im really tired and about to have to go back up to the church to finish decorating! ill update tomorrow night or sunday and let you know how everything went!

8:09 pm - so much to do... so little time...

ok so there a ton of fun stuff going on right now!! this is the last update from a brunette... tomorrow i will be BLONDE! ahhh! i know - go ahead... say it "you'll hair will finally match your personality!" whatever - im kinda nervous though. i hope i like it. it will definitely be a big change.
saturday i leave for SASC! im so flippin excited. really, i havent been this excited about something in a long time. me, kami, and melissa are gonna have a ton of laughs and good times! ill be back from texas on tuesday night.
then wednesday morning my dad, step-mom, and grandma are coming in from washington and california for my sisters wedding. so im gonna spend the whole day with them at their hotel on the beach. i havent seen my dad or step-mom since my sisters graduation and i havent seen my g-ma in like 4 years. im really excited. and then wednesday night my moms aunt is flyin in from ohio for the wedding and shes always fun - nothing like and old single yankee lady to make ya laugh!
then thursday and friday we have tons of wedding stuff going on and the wedding itself is on saturday. ryans doing his video thing for them - thats cool!
so yeah my life is a little hectic for the next week and a half... but its all good. im really excited!

so i guess im in one of my moods... with my sister getting married and all - things in my life just seem to be under a magnifying glass. its hard when you see other people gettin exactly what they have always dreamed and hoped for. sometimes i just want to scream! i just want to make a good impression to people i havent seen in a long time and i cant! no matter how hard i try things just cant ever seem to go my way. its a simple thing... it really is. just this once please! im tired of wearing my "happy mask" every day... but then again i cant stop.
gosh... this really sucks - and whats worse is that i dont see it getting better anytime soon.

ok - so scratch the concert plans! little ms kelly decided today to cancel the concert because shes sick... poor little baby! not! im so pissed! ive waited for like 4 months now and then 3 days before the concert she cancels it! whatever... my mom said she would take me and my sister shopping friday night instead. and now i wont be as tired on saturday at the SGA district meeting. but dont get me wrong - im still extremely pissed!
yea - just a little venting... im done now.

10:11 am - behind these hazel eyes...

this weekend has been a blast so far.
friday night before the game about 15 of us went to road house. it was really fun, i was late, whats new? then it was on to the game - which we won!!.... it was probably the funnest game of the year so far. after the game kami, stephanie, and melissa stayed the night. we went up to sonic and met some folk there. they finally started shutting the place down at 12 so we left.
saturday stephanie, melissa, and i went to the mall and then out to dinner with my family. tina and rachel met us there too!
now its sunday and im about to head to church. i have nursery duty. yay... after church i have to help my sister and some of her other bridesmaids address invitations to the wedding. this should be fun!
i was really planning on studying for ACT yesterday. yeah - that didnt happen.

p.s. - firday night is the kelly clarkson concert! ahhhhh! im so excited!

i've been really busy lately. it's nice to have stuff to do most of the time - but it can get a little much.
i have a ton of really cute pictures from the party and i wanna post them but i dont know how. so ryan, tana... anyone - help!.!.!
welp - i guess thats it for now... gotta go study. oh yeah... i checked in late today and missed our first 1st priority meeting. bummer - i just wasnt feeling too good. i heard it went really well though. im super excited about this year!

9:03 am - one week from today and...
|
so there's another hurricane probably heading this way... bummer! i'm seriously praying that it won't. i don't want to have to miss tons of school... i'm graduating on may 20th even if i have to have my own little ceremony on the field all be myself... i'm doing it!
we won the football game against ft. walton last night! that's really exciting... maybe we will do good this year after all. i love football... and pep-rallies. fun times, fun times!
oh yeah - next saturday (sep. 3rd) is my birthday... i'm havin a little party thing at 5:00. even if i haven't seen you to give you an invitation you are more than welcome to come and hang out. that is... if this hurricane doesn't mess thing up really bad - we might be having a hurricane party instead of a birthday party. but whatever.
sga party today at griffin's... i'm excited - it should be fun.

1:05 pm - 2 weeks from today and...

this week went by kinda fast... nothing really special happened.
last night me and stephanie went to the game together. it was fun and we talked a lot - i like talking to her. i sat with mrs. robin and mr. troy most of the night so that was cool. i love football games... good times, good times. we finally get to have a pep-rally next friday! yay for it taking 4 weeks to have one our senior year. but whatever... life goes on.

2:41 pm - 3 weeks from today and...
|
another saturday... another day at work. maybe my last! i told my mom i wanted to quit and she said ok. but i have to stay until she gets someone else. hopefully it will be within the next 2 weeks so i dont have to come back - i have next weekend off for a college retreat at church.
i am almost 100% sure im staying here for my first 2 years of college... pjc for my basics that i need to get into nursing school and then transfer to usa to get my degree. i feel really comfortable with that decision but we'll see...
me and jessica went to the scrimmage last night - it was pretty boring so we left early and went to la ha. then it was back to my house to watch "shall we dance"... i slept through most of it, but what i saw was pretty good.
babysitting tonight after work till 11... im gonna be sooooooo tired. then i have nursery tomorrow at church. i always love that!

its only half way through the 2nd week of school... dang. its been kinda a lame start too... no pep rally yet - and not one till next week (hopefully!)
im supposed to be writing a paper for ap government but i really dont feel like it.
stephanie and george are comin to my church tonight... but no crystal. **loser** :) im really glad their cmmin though - i hope we have good worship and stuff for them.
i really enjoy sga... i knew it would be fun - but i have a blast every day.
colleges...!!! what to do, what to do?? i think all of my plans have changed. i just dont know anymore.

i think im getting sick! bummer...
i got my schedule changed! i switched marine biology with student aide - how fun! i really enjoy doin all that jazz in student affairs... i got the scoop on who's in trouble and why! its really quite interesting.
but its saturday - which means im at work... again. i have to write a 400 word essay for dashers class - ill probably do that while im sitting here doing nothing all day.

6:01 pm - back to school already!

its only august 1st and we're already back in school. how crazy is that!! i had a really fun day though. its really different being a senior... kinda annoying because there are so many immature people around you - but whatever.
my day was kinda hectic because of sga and all but it made it alot more fun. i have dasher 1st block.... boy am i glad i have him 1st semester! then i have ms harris 2nd block..... marine science honors - what a joke! 3rd block i have sga of course... fun times, fun times. and then 4th block i have AP government... mama j is hilarious!
this year is going to go by so fast.... i can tell already. but it'll definitely be a fun one! "GETTY UP!..." "YEE HAW!"

im at work... this goes to show how completely boring and uneventful my saturdays at work are.
last night was fun... me and eric went to see the island. good movie - just so darn long. he dropped me back at home around 9:45... he was tired. yeah - im not too sure about that whole situation. dont know if im interested... dont know if hes interested... we'll just have to see!

7:15 pm - stupid taxes!

i got my first paycheck ever!!!!!!! almost $500... dang taxes are a rip off. i would have made so much more if they didn't take them out. oh well - it feels so good to have my own money... we'll see how long it lasts though.
i thought i was going to be able to sleep in this morning. wrong! i had to babysit from 8:00-5:30... it was fun though. the little boy's name was cody and he was almost 2. probably one of the cutest kids i've ever seen. we played baseball, he swam in his little kiddie pool, we ate pizza, he took a 3 hour nap, i took a 2 hour nap... you know - the usual.
me and stephanie started making our senior crowns last night... they are going to be soooo cute! we didnt get very far though - we're making one for each day of homecoming week and then one to wear on normal pep-rally days.
i have to go to school again tomorrow but not till like 11:00 this time... so ill get to sleep in a little hopefully.
i cant believe school starts monday.... CRAZY! im totally excited though.

8:37 pm - its about time!
|
today was a really good day! besides the fact that i had to be at school at 5:30 this morning, the day was pretty plesent. i went to lunch at la ha with sarah, nikki b., and heather w. - that was fun. and then it was back to school to lay around in the sga room till 3:30.
**big news of the day**
FIRST!! - i got my senior portraits today... 2 out of the 16 turned out pretty good. and thankfully one of the ones that is good is a yearbook one.
SECOND!! - i found out that i passed my AP calculus exam. yes! only 3 people in our class passed - i know that the only way i did was through alot of prayer... really.
THIRD!! - i ordered some jeans off of oldnavy.com and they came in today... all of them fit and they're really cute!
...sigh...
i have to be at school again tomorrow morning. but this time not till 7:00. this should be interesting...
